What the like rate tells you

The like rate is likes divided by views. It is a rough read on whether people who saw the video enjoyed it enough to tap. Because TikTok pushes videos to strangers on the For You page, a video can have huge views and a weak like rate, or modest views and a brilliant one. The second is usually the better sign for your next upload.

Like-rate bands we go by

• Above 10%: strong. People are not just watching, they are reacting.
• 4–10%: normal for most accounts.
• 1.5–4%: soft. The hook may be working but the payoff is not.
• Under 1.5%: low. Look at the first two seconds and the ending.

Views against followers

Add your follower count and the tool also shows views as a share of followers. Well above 100% means the video travelled beyond your own audience. A likes pack on one clip

A likes pack on one video changes the number visitors see, which can make a good video look as popular as it deserves. It does not change how long people watch, and watch time is what TikTok weighs most. So keep packs modest, pick a video that is already doing reasonably, and use the TikTok likes page for sizes.
