The pence-per-follower maths
The bigger the pack, the less each follower costs. On the 100 pack you’re paying close to 3p a head. At 1,000 it falls to roughly 1.1p, and at 10,000 to about 0.48p. Likes follow the same curve, from 2p each in the smallest pack to around 0.28p in the largest.
That doesn’t mean the biggest pack is the right one. A profile with 300 followers jumping to 10,300 overnight looks odd, so value only matters once the size fits.
Why prices vary so much between shops
- Delivery pacing. Trickling follows in slowly takes more work than firing them all at once.
- Refill cover. Topping up drops within 30 days is built into our price; some sellers charge extra or skip it.
- Currency. Shops pricing in another currency leave you exposed to card conversion fees. We charge in GBP.
- Subscriptions. A low weekly figure can add up to far more than a single pack.
Hidden costs to watch for elsewhere
The headline number isn’t always what leaves your account. Watch for foreign-currency fees on your card, “priority delivery” tick boxes, auto-renew settings and refill being sold separately. A cheap pack that has to be bought twice isn’t cheap. Our cheap versus decent guide digs into that trade-off.
Which size gives the best value for you
For new or small accounts, 250 to 500 is usually the sweet spot: low spend, believable jump. Accounts already in the low thousands tend to get the most from 1,000 followers. Larger creators and shops topping up a launch may look at 5,000. If price is the main thing, the cheap followers page lists the lowest-spend options in one place.
What your money does and doesn’t buy
You pay for a number of follows delivered to a public profile at a steady pace, with 30 days of refill cover. You are not paying for comments, DMs, sales or reach. Bought followers don’t engage like friends and customers do, so treat a pack as a first-impression boost rather than an audience.
A worked example for a small UK shop
Picture a candle maker in Leeds with 400 followers, launching a winter range. She tops up with 500 followers at £7.49 and adds 250 likes at £2.99 on the launch post, so her total is £10.48, paid in one go. The grid now reads as a going concern, the launch post shows a sensible number of hearts, and she still has the rest of her budget for a local market stall. Compare that with a weekly subscription at a few pounds that quietly runs for three months: the one-off route is easier to track and easier to stop. If she later wants a bigger push, a 1,000 likes pack on her best reel costs £5.99.
